As an Interactive Media Arts (IMA) student at New York University, I am learning a little bit about everything concerning modern media, its technologies, and its interactivity. Centered around the imaginative use of communications technologies, I have taken classes in photography, programming, sound, animation, comics, digital fabrication, and even paper!
At IMA, it's not easy for me to point to something and say that "THAT'S my concentration." Really, I'm building skills to allow me to use the tools in emerging industries like artificial intelligence and industrial light and magic (the things replacing greenscreens). I am at IMA because I like technology, I like building things, and I like using those things to tell a story and because none of that is easy to do by myself.
I have compiled some of my favorite projects to showcase down below.
This isn't a normal grocery store...
Short, sweet, and cute.
New York's streets are lined with characters wating to be discovered. This is how one of them helped my friend group grow.
One of my first assignments at IMA. Made in collaboration with Sasha Slavashevich.
