Elton Orbito, 22, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, is a digital creator, specializing in photography, video editing, and computer hardware. With a background in muscial theatre, he explores the interaction between physical input and its output in the digital space. His work follows his travels around the world and into the very hardware he uses at his desk, exploring the intersection of technology and performance. An enthusiast, his practice manifests itself as countless hours overclocking his personal computer and modding his mechanical keyboards. Orbito is a graduate of Punahou School and currently pursuing a BFA with a merit scholarship at NYU Tisch’s Interactive Media Arts program. He has directed a full length play, is a Twitch affiliate, and has showcased work at the Interactive Media Arts show and NYU's StudentLink Center gallery.
